You have probably heard about the term tweet wall. It’s the display of a wall of posts issued from Twitter. With the social media selection available on your dashboard, you may transform and adapt your Social Wall as you wish by collecting posts coming from only one social media to get a Twitter wall, Instagram wall, Facebook wall or even a photo wall and other terms to include a live-tweet to your event. The act of a live-tweet is to comment live what is going on using Twitter or other social networks.
You have the possibility to choose the display length, between 6 to 8 seconds, in the dashboard menu “Custom” > “Design” > “Display Time Per Post / SLIDE”. It is pre-defined at 7 seconds which is the best duration to read each post easily.
Every post is published almost instantaneously by order of arrival. Bear in mind that you will have to wait 5 minutes in order to gather posts from social networks because of the limited access granted by their API – we do not control this time – then add 1 minute minimum for the moderation time. A random display mode has been set up for the latest posts received in order to keep your wall fresh, in order to avoid monotony with the same order of posts appearing each time. This enables to vary the users’ posts that are live-tweeting and commenting actions in real time.. If someone is live tweeting your event, you would not want its posts to appear continuously on your wall for several minutes. Socialwall.me prevents this by adding a random mode.
If you have decided to highlight certain users in your Moderation Settings, these users’ posts will be broadcasted first and more regularly than other posts, ensuring them a great visibility. You can also prioritize the accounts of your partners and sponsors. It’s the perfect way to use your social wall as a communication tool.
You are wondering how to display your Social Live on full screen directly on your computer? First, remember to always update your browser with the latest version.
Forget about all the commands like CMD + SHIFT + F while using a Mac or a PC. We made it easier for you to display your social live: just open your Social Live and find a two arrowed icon at the bottom right corner. Click on the 2 arrows and your social live is now on full screen. Please note that this feature works better on a Google Chrome browser.
The pictures broadcasted inside the circle of the Social Live correspond to the Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook profile picture. Should a picture be attached to the post, that same picture will be displayed instead of the profile picture. Therefore, there will always be a photo broadcasted to keep your Social Wall visual and design.
How to make sure pictures are systematically present on my wall?
There will always be a picture attached to tweets, Instagram posts and Facebook posts. When a post doesn’t have any picture coming with it, the profile picture will be broadcasted in the animated circle of the Social Live instead. You will then be assured to have systematically a photo broadcasted in the circle.
Having only pictures broadcasted – no text

It displays 4 or 8 posts with a larger picture and a smaller text; this will allow you to have a photo mosaic. The posts will refresh every 15 seconds.
Having squared pictures instead of the circle space
You can choose to get a square to display the photos instead of a circle. Just make sure to let us know about it and we will make the change.
